Common questions

How do I play? Tap a bottle to pick it up, then tap another bottle to pour. A level is solved when every bottle is either empty or filled with a single colour.

What are the pouring rules? You can only pour onto the same colour, or into an empty bottle, and only while there is room. All the matching layers on top pour together, as many as fit.

I made a mistake — can I undo? Yes. Tap the undo button to take back your last pours, or restart the level to try again from the beginning.

I'm stuck. Are there hints? Yes — tap the hint button and Noodle will show you a good next pour. Solving a level in fewer moves earns more stars.

What are the “?” layers? In mystery levels the lower layers are hidden until you uncover them by pouring off the colours above.

I find some colours hard to tell apart. Turn on colour-blind symbols in Settings. Every colour then also shows its own shape, so you can sort by symbol instead of colour.

Where is my progress saved? On your device, and backed up to our server under an anonymous player ID so it isn't lost. No sign-in is needed.

Can I change my nickname? Yes — you can ask the game for a new random nickname. Nicknames are picked from a list of friendly words so everyone stays safe.

How do I delete my data? Email us your nickname and device type (iPhone/iPad, Android or web) and we'll delete your progress and scores.

Are there ads or in-app purchases? No ads. No tracking.
